April Fools Giveaway

April Fools is one of my favorite days of the year. Normally, I find a way to prank at least one person, but this year I just couldn't come up with any good ideas. So instead, I've decided to host a giveaway. This giveaway is not a joke. I repeat, this giveaway IS NOT A JOKE. A couple months ago, I won a copy of Lover Mine from Kristin at Nocturnal Bites. Due to a shipping mishap with the Book Depository, I ended up with two mass market copies of Lover Mine by J.R. Ward and she said I was free to give one of the copies away on the blog.

To enter, all you have to do is comment with your e-mail address and answer the following question:

What is the best April Fools Day prank you've ever played on someone else, or had someone play on you?

Giveaway Rules:
1. Open to the US and Canada.
2. Must leave a valid e-mail address.
3. Giveaway ends Saturday April 9th at midnight.

  1. I've never been played, or played anymore. But my mom's classic was to call her friend every year on April 1st and tell them they announced on TV an aqueduc problem and to fill their bath with water in case they'd need some... and every year, someone would get caught. You'd think they'd learn their lesson right? lol

Thank you so much for the giveaway! I'm at book 3 of BDB brother and love the series, can't wait for more!

  2. When I was younger I played a very, very detailed prank on my sister, insisting our house was haunted. It was complete with a scary movie to set the mood, unexplained noises and our friends 'vanishing'. I really figured she would catch on to what was going on, being the 1st and all the pranks we had already pulled on everyone else, but she had no clue. It was pretty awesome, through it took awhile for her to laugh at it, haha ;-)

  4. Tynga, I've only read book one of the series so far, but I've picked up a few more and plan to read them soon.

Chelsea, that sounds like a fun prank. I always find it hilarious that no one catches by knowing what day it is.

A couple of my friends played great pranks on their parents in high school. One friend had a skill for stage makeup, so she made it look like she had a hicky and her mom freaked out when she picked us up from softball practice after school.

And today, a couple of the guys I work with had fun sticking things to each others backs. I just sat back and let them ignore me because I didn't want them to start taping things to me while I wasn't looking.

  5. We play different pranks in my family. This year I didn't get to do much because I was working on April Fool's day. But the other day my father pranked my mother pretty good. I made donuts and he took one and filled it with ketchup instead of custard and gave it to my mom. You would have cracked up if you saw her face when she tried the donut. lol

  6. LOL, when younger I taped the handle of the kitchen sink sprayer down. Took my Mom about 3 minutes of getting sprayed to figure out what the hell was happening. Me and my sister were on the floor dying with laughter by then :)

  9. I was never really big into April fools but I do remember once in elementary school that we covered out teacher's ugly yellow chair with yellow chalk dust. When he sat on it he was absolutely covered in chalk (I swear it got everywhere) LOL.
